Thank you for visiting my new website and blog!
Before I worked in residential real estate I worked in the travel industry. I worked for the airlines, then British tour operators, then founded a Destination Management Travel business. Hard work! But very fulfilling. When I could, I traveled with my family. My son had a passport at 5 months old! My daughter was very young too on her first trip. They are now both in their 20’s and whilst I can’t speak for my son, my daughter loves airports and the smell of jet fuel like I do and they both are “global citizens”. Mission accomplished. I love making people’s dreams come true, whether a travel experience or a new home. I find the skill set for my work in travel and real estate to be remarkably similar! It was easy to extend my love of travel to real estate. I would be delighted to help you make your new home dreams come true or maximize your profits on the sale of your home!
Alongside my passion for travel I am an avid book nerd. I also love volunteering at Torrance Memorial Hospital (my daughter got me started when she started nursing school; she’s now a senior in college and in May 2023 will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing). They say if you are going to write, write about what you love. This I can do. I am pretty serious about making travel a bigger part of my life now that my children are in their 20’s and I have engaged in some post-Covid so called “revenge” travel. I solo travel a lot, spur of the moment when I have free time. It’s easy and fun! In the last 12 months I have been to Europe, Morocco, the Caribbean, Mexico and Alaska. I am blessed for the life I’ve worked hard to create for myself. Three of these trips were quick (but leisurely paced) 7 day cruises (I love cruising). I am a working girl after all!! I’ll tell you more about my trips in upcoming posts and add a couple of pictures and from time to time my tips/suggestions for those that are interested.
I look forward to reminiscing and sharing my travels with you!
