What a year 2024 was! While some people were busy racking up steps on their fitness trackers, I was busy racking up miles—air miles, cruise miles, and countless unforgettable experiences. Let’s dive into my whirlwind journey across the globe! What’s especially helpful in keeping track of my travels is The Cruise Globe website and app.

✈️ Flying High: 31,180 Miles Above the Earth

Nine flights, one ultra-long haul marathon, and enough air miles to make a frequent flyer jealous! Some highlights include:

  • A grueling (but not really because Q-Suite) 6-hour flight from London to Doha, 8 hour layover Doha in the Al Mourjan business class Lounge followed by an epic 8,296-mile 16-hour, 15-minute stretch from Doha to Los Angeles—now that’s a serious ultra long-haul experience and a great points redemption!
  • Bouncing between the U.S., South America, and the South Pacific, covering every type of climate from Antarctica’s icy landscapes to Fiji’s sun-kissed beaches.

🚢 Cruising Through 22,056 Nautical Miles

Four amazing cruises took me across the Antarctic, the Caribbean, the Atlantic, and the South Pacific—each one offering its own unique slice of adventure:

  • 🧊 Antarctica on the Oosterdam – Penguins, icebergs, and a true bucket-list experience.
  • 🌴 Caribbean on the Eurodam – Sun, sea, and sailing with a large group of new friends!
  • 🚢 QM2 Transatlantic Crossing – Classic ocean liner elegance at its finest.
  • 🏝️ Grand Princess in the South Pacific – A massive 11,900-mile journey across island paradise.

With 40,356 nautical miles cruised since 2018, I’ve practically sailed around the world—twice!

🌍 16 Countries, Countless Memories

From Chile to QatarFiji to Antarctica, I’ve touched down on six continents this year. Some highlights:

  • Wildlife encounters in the Falklands
  • Exploring Polynesian paradise in Tahiti, Moorea, and Raiatea
  • Experiencing the cultural fusion of Qatar
  • Eating Steak in Argentina (because let’s be honest, that’s a must!)

📊 The Bigger Picture: My Travel Legacy

Since 2018, my cruising stats are something to be proud of:

  • 135 days at sea
  • 5 cruise lines, 11 ships, 57 ports, 28 countries

What’s next for 2025? Who knows! But one thing’s for sure—I’ll be chasing new horizons, logging more miles, and collecting even more incredible memories.  As my Cruise Globe “passport”  shows,  my travel in 2025 is advancing.

Bon voyage! 🌎🚀🚢
